Christmas Ideas for Dad

Posted by Joe on 29th November 2005

Dear Santa,

I hope that I have been a good boy
this year. We all think we have been good, but sometimes I just don’t
know. Here are my ideas for Christmas.

Joey Gibbs

  • New picture of Frank and Holly in blues
  • New shoes (Black dress shoes and brown/tan business casual)
  • Cargo Pants - 38 x 32
  • Nice short sleeve work shirts, neck size 17 1/2
  • Some new sweathers, xl of course.
  • Nice thick flannel shirts
  • New PJ’’s of course.
  • New snow shovels would be great as the current ones are over 10 years old.
  • I collect coins, try something from the littleton coin company or the US Mint
  • Since I like to read how about a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble ?
  • Home depot had a deal recently on a small air compresser and a air powered nailing gun. It ran about $150 and looked userful.
  • Maybe some music, here are some ideas

The Irish Tenors: Sacred, Anthony Kearns, John McDermott and Finbar Wright
($13.99): Ronan Tynan has moved on to a solo career, so McDermott, one
of the originals, returns to the trio. The Irish Tenors’ shows
typically include a healthy dollop of religious music. With the Czech
Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, they’ve devoted an album to
inspirational music - Amazing Grace, I’ll Walk With God, Morning Has
Broken - with inspirational results.

Hanukkah Rocks, the LeeVees
($13.98): Straight-up, deadpanned, good-time jangly pop arrives in the
vein of They Might Be Giants. From Latke Clan: "Your uncle’s here /
Flew in from out of town / It’s nice to have him around / Even though
he’s weird / It’s Chanukkah."

  • From the tools department at Sears a Craftsman 19.2 volt Work Light. Sears item #00911391000 Mfr. model #11391. 19.2
volt work light with a 180 degree pivoting head, overmold grip and
switch, high-intensity bulb, and lanyard. Battery sold separately. Can
    be ordered online her
