I am looking for something to replace my Sony Clie (Palm OS) and ran across a post on engadget.com about the Nokia N810. It seems like a really cool device. Claims to be able to connect to the internet via WI-Fi and your cell phone via the blue tooth connection.
They claim it will run a Virtual Palm OS and applications.

This morning I logged and started up firefox. For some reason it lost all my bookmarks and reset all the settings for the plugins. This is the end of the road for me regarding using firefox.
All I wanted is a browser that does tabs. The fact the anyone can create a extension sounds good, until one of them messes up all your settings and you can’t get it back, again.
I am going to try Opera at opera.com and then wait for IE to introduce tab’s.

Weblog Usability
To have a blog that performs well, there are certain things to keep in mind, and Jakob Nielsen over at Useit.com has come up with a list of the top ten design mistakes.
1. No Author Biographies
2. No Author Photo
3. Nondescript Posting Titles
4. Links Don’t Say Where They Go
5. Classic Hits are Buried
6. The Calendar is the Only Navigation
7. Irregular Publishing Frequency
8. Mixing Topics
9. Forgetting That You Write for Your Future Boss
10. Having a Domain Name Owned by a Weblog Service
The ones I most agree with are the first two. One of the things I do once I realize “hey, I like this blog” is to see who wrote it. Its very frustrating, especially on more personal type blogs, to not know who I am reading.
